In the wiki it says this pattern clears whatever in the landmarked area and fills holes underneath the area.

Trying to fill the bedrock holes after a quarry run, but I am still figuring why this pattern not working (green light is on but no clearing and no filling holes). "Filling holes underneath the area" in wiki means it will fill all blocks below it or just one layer right below the landmarked area?

Did you remember to put some blocks in the filler? It won't fill the holes in if you don't give it blocks.

/\ /\ /\ /\ /\

The filler needs something to fill with before it can fill things.

And yes it will just be one layer but you can make the box larger with makers to fill more downwards if needed. Or you can use sand which will fall out of the box area making the filler we fill the sand that just fell.

Also take really good bloody care when using that mode. It will completely remove everything even above the landmarked area. The bloody thing deleted my bloody wither grinder wich was on the surface. Miles above the landmarked area.

Still pissed about that.

well of course i did put blocks in its inventory. but it doesn't even do any clearing with green light on, power supplied.

Edit: whatever is supplying the power is switched on also in case you have to wonder.

make sure there isn't any bedrock inside the rectangle to be flattened. It will get stuck trying to remove an indestructible block. If i was you I'd use the fill mode instead of the flatten mode. just put the height corner above a deep hole in the bedrock layers, and the remaining 3 on the layer above. that should fill in any cavities.

Finally figured, just like what you said, any landmarked area in the layer with bedrock breaks the filler
