I played it years ago in a small online community.

What I remember specifically: there were giant grey trees, punching those would effect the world. I think the mana
 
Did you use the FTB launcher to access the pack?
-If you've still got the launcher, right click it and open the file location. Every pack you played appears as a named folder here.

Did the trees have blue leaves? (if so- then its Thaumcraft's Silverwood trees)

What version of Minecraft?
(or roughly what month/year you were playing it if it was a recent update for the 'current' MC)

Do you have any screenshots from that instance?

Do you have any links to the small online community?
