A Crash Landing Map Idea

You (and one or two other people if you are on a server) are the captains of a large cargo ship. This ship is currently making a trip from Orland to your home country. Orland is known for two things: Low IQs and its Rubber Chicken industry. As such, your ship is filled mostly with rubber chickens.

Before you left, you told the people at the port to give you [number] MJ (or whatever it is they are using now). However, these people cannot read very well. When they read your request, they thought you were asking for EU (3 EU ~ 1 MJ). So they gave you 1/3rd of the fuel you needed to make your trip.

You did not notice this mistake. You were too busy admiring the rubber chickens. Although the indigenous species were stupid, they are very good at making rubber chickens. Sadly, these rubber chickens have no purpose whatsoever, except as a silly sword.

The company you work for, Geokix, in an effort to increase profits cuts corners. They cut many corners. Some of the corners they cut included:
  • Motorized Life Boats
  • A Beacon
  • A accurate employee list and trade log
So they will probably never, ever notice you even went missing. They also like to make the shortest trip possible. Because of that, the trip you have to take is the ocean equivalent of the Sahara desert.

However, your luck is not all bad. One of the crates is transporting mining artifacts to a museum.

Another has scuba Gear.

And best of all, you are near a tiny island with a single palm tree.

Your goal: Generate enough power to get home

Works like the original Crash landing, except it takes place in water.

1. The rubber chickens are not there to make you laugh. You have a huge ship. 95% is full of chickens. You will need to generate power to get a crane to move the crates. It will start with a small amount of power (Crate right below crane), but you will need to generate more and more as you remove more crates.

2. Armor is re-purposed into scuba gear and armor. The museum set is in a museum for a reason. Armor upgrades will increase swimming speed and will let you stay underwater longer.

3. Primary way of getting ores is to sift dust, which is found at the bottom of the ocean. It is a re textured version of the desert dust.
 
If there's anybody who's a captain of a space ship filled with rubber chickens, it'll be me, Moose!
But anyway, this sounds neat! (I've been tossing around an idea for a magic based crash landy thing myself. it'd be for 1.7 though >.<)
