5-20FPS On FTB, 100FPS on Normal MC?

So on normal minecraft I get around 50-100FPS but when I try to use the FTB client or any other client (Mutli MC etc) I get terrible terrible FPS issues. I made sure that it is set to use my NVIDIA Card instead of my intergrated but I still cant seem to go over 20FPS max on FTB. Any ideas? My computer is an acer aspire 5742G, 4gb RAM, intel(r) Core I3 2.4GHZ with a Nvida geforce 520m 1gb ddr3 dedicated. Does anyone have any idea why my fps is so low? I tried on a server and on single player and the issue is still the same.

Simple: Ftb has a lot more things added to the game, and minecraft loads them all. That's why it takes mroe time to even load minecraft.

Add Optifine to the mod list of what you are playing. It will boost your FPS.
