Hello, I have had a problem with FPS on FTB.
As you can see in the title, I have had a maximum of 35 FPS on FTB and a minimum of 40 FPS on normal Minecraft.
How can I get more FPS on my FTB? Because that's way more fun than Vanilla MC.

Thanks already :)

P.S. I don't know how to find the files for my graphics card etc. because I have a new Windows 8 PC :/

FTB runs at a lower FPS because it have a bunch of mods. It needs more RAM, Graphic Cards (Maybe) and CPU.

You should check that FTB is using your graphics card when running, it often doesn't.

Due to the number of mods that the Feed the Beast packs have, there is an increased amount of lag associated with using this pack. Mods such as Traincraft, are still in beta stages and are unstable. Other mods such as ExtraBiomesXL and Mystcraft have massive amounts of terrain generation. This creates added lag in the game, and results in sometimes unplayable worlds. The best solution to this is to set your computer and game settings to the most optimal FPS settings you can, or remove mods that greatly contribute to lag. This seems to result in different set-ups for many users of this modpack.
You may need to change your server or computer performance settings to compensate for any changes that have occurred. You can try adding Optifine, changing your video settings, not running other programs while you're trying to play, and increasing your allocated RAM.

Do you have something called Catalyst Control Panel instead? This would mean you have an AMD card instead.
