Basically, 32-bit works fine on both FtB launchers and MC launcher. If I uninstall that and install 64-bit Java, it acts as if the mojan servers are down on both launchers. I've tried everything I can google including disabling virus software and the windows firewall. Windows is fully updated.

My PC: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/jonathantrillo/saved/Q2htt6

Win 7

Console text: http://pastie.org/9313525

Obviously this isn't a FtB issue, but I really hope I can find some help here.

Thanks!

That console text seems rather short. Can you post a pastebin of the entire console log?

Also make sure you UN-install 32bit java.
Make sure you only have 1 version of 64bit java installed.

The error message is saying something about a socket error, so its trying to connect to something and failing. a console log may give more info on that.

That's for the reply. The issue is now solved. I followed instructions that reset Winsock or something like that and once I restarted it just worked.

The winsock reset has stopped my IP webcam working. The webcam is attached to my mobo's ethernet port and has a static IP. Any ideas on how to get this working again? Wired lan says "Unidentified network". :(

Unless the webcam came with setup software, you might have to call their tech support and get the info to set up up the card again.
