  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Does it have identical hardware?

Intel said:
Windows 8 drivers for the Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family support legacy Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 1.1 and are included in the Windows 8 installation build. Drivers for these platforms aren't available on the Intel website or on Windows Update.
That's their official statement. Luckily microsoft distrubutes that basic driver for windows 8.1 and windows 10 otherwise machines with that chipset would not work at all.

When using Intel's Program to Install I also get a unknown error - even repeated again today.
