What is the bug:
These are totally ruining my normal Minecraft play experience as I don't "roleplay" - how is it the FTB team missed putting in an option to have them turned off or disabled?

Known Fix: Fixed the most annoying one by disabling the audiodeath mod, which turned off the annoying death screams.

This is because the development of the 2.5 update was not done by FTB but someone else. They just gave it polish. Like you said you can disable the mod if you don't like it.
