Open 2.4.2: [2.5.0] Forestry backpacks not working

What is the bug:
Forestry backpacks(Miner and Digger) aren't working in the sense that they won't auto pickup items or even allow items to be put into them via interface. Has this been disabled or is this a bug?

Issue is in the config several lines are oreDict or itemStacks when they need to be ore.dict or item.stacks, this is a known bug since 2.4.1 and I don't see why they still have not fixed this since a fix has been posted since 2.4.1

Was about to post a bug report, good thing we can find quick fix with google pointing out to this thread.
