Title 100% CPU and slow loading

Details of the issue I have a problem with loading times. Modpack is Unstable 1.10 but it has added and updated mods.

When it's about to finish loading CPU jumps to 100% usage and when it finishes loading it still displays the loading screen but it's frozen and CPU is still at 100% and stays like that for 1 minute and than minecraft loads. It's also using more RAM than expected (Up to 5GB in task manager).
My cpu is core i7 2700k@4GHz and I have 8GB system RAM.
Edit: I am constantly getting lag spikes while playing.
Edit v2: Increasiong RAM from 3.5 to 4GB solved the lag spikes but loading times are still long
