WOW! I can't believe it.... I just loaded some new world Chunks and I found 10 steadfast drones in one chest. I've only ever found one; that was in my FTB LP.

I found a set whilst wandering, under a spider spawner that was hiding underneath a greatwood tree. Don't really have many stats on 'em, need to run them thru my beealyzer again, see what they do, assuming I haven't hybridized all of mine to the point of being unrecognizable from what they were at the start.

As a hint for people who don't want spoilers: Steadfast bees are only obtainable from dungeon chests and mutate into an exceptionally useful bee if you play your cards exactly right. In other words if you don't have a use for them and you're playing multiplayer you should donate them immediately to your local bee breeder who will love you forever.

Yup! I know it makes an awesome Bee.... But I'm still experimenting
It's a special kind of bee and if you bread it with a certain bee you will get an amazing bee
Spoilers, yo!
This bee is used to make the heroic branch with another bee called "Valiant" which is found rarely from worldgen hives. The Heroic bee has beneficial effects from being near it's hive while it's working (kind of like a mini beacon). This can be further mutated with a Marbled bee to make the Classical branch which produces royal jelly faster than imperial bees can.
that's not exactly a spoiler... You can get Marble drones naturally from beehives and you get Valiant Drones by easily cross breeding drones
Some people consider bee mutations a spoiler and breeding outcomes something you need to discover on your own. I don't care personally, but I respect people who might like the person above my post who requested the information to be hid with spoiler tags. Marble drones are not inherently a spoiler, but how they factor in to breeding new species is.

Too be honest- there's a brilliant mechanic with the beealyzer and stacked drones;
Analysing the whole stack at once only uses 1 honeydrop
