Ever want to go back to go back to the original modpack times, but still maintain the ingenuity, features and content of the current times? Ever want to have gameplay that has more too it than just plopping down some basic engines, but without the grind of most other big mods? Then this might just be the pack for you! With no RF or EU this is a tech based pack with some other cool tech mods such as Rotarycraft, Pneumaticcraft, Buildcraft, Open computers integrated with ComputerCraft, and many more! This is the form of kitchen sink pack that doesn't feel like a kitchen sink pack!

This is a tech based on actually having to make infrastructure. You cannot just build a few dynamos.

Some notes.
If you want to play an easier version, disable Infernal mobs and Lycanite mobs.
I can play this with no lag on my crappy laptop with only 1.5 gigs of ram. (That's me recommending 1.5 gigabytes of ram to be allocated)
Yes, I added both highlands and ATG. I like them both and they both add no new blocks.
I know that buildcraft has RF now; but, it functions almost exactly like MJ with no other RF mods installed.
If you say CC is op, check the recipes in-game :)
This is for me to play, im just posting it here if anyone else wants to play or try this type of modpack.

This pack contains <a color="aqua" href="http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=10820">Fastcraft</a>, by Player, enabled by default. Fastcraft enhances Minecraft with increased performance. Bug reports being made directly to Mod Authors should state Fastcraft is enabled.

This is based of jordsta95's Industrial Revolution modpack.

... You had me at rotarycraft :) I think that's an awesome idea. I will definitely try this.

Some thoughts tho about some of the mods that are or aren't in here:
* lycanites - Only problem I have is it makes the nether rediculous cause of the flying head creatures everywhere and the events are a little rediculous as well. I like the way you can tune them. Did you tune them to any extent or are they at default settings?
* Meteorcraft - Love the idea, played it in bnb in 164, but there it became "rush to build meteor gun and then watch as your landscape all around your base becomes nothing but ores and a huge mess". Is this the case still?
* weather2 - last couple packs I played that had this in it seemed to be a bit crashy. Configs also very tunable. Did you tune the configs or are they default? Who doesn't like watching cows fly?
+ Enderstorage - too op for pack? When I play it, I'll probably add this, personal preference.
+ Translocators - same as above.

I Disabled their mob drops, but I might change the settings if they become a hindrance when playing. (or if I get tired of dieing :D)

MeteroCraft: I haven't played a world with this mod for more than an hour or two (just testing), so i'm not sure.
Weather2: I haven't experienced any crashes with this.
Enderstorage and Translocators are not mods that I have seen a need for. Ill consider adding them.

He means the fact that there is (for example) Flaxbeard copper ore, RotaryCraft copper ore, Tinker's Construct copper ore, etc. all generating at the same time in the worldgen.

Yea, I will probably just use COFH-core (world, whatever the name is).

Update 1.3.1
99% sure I didn't break anything.



I fixed all the different types of ores spawning. There should now only be one type of ore spawning for each ore.
I also removed eureka and BC additions as I recently went more in depth to it. It just didn't seem to suit the pack well.
I added rftools (Its disabled by default) and I plan on doing some more stuff with it to try and integrate it with the pack. (I know its rf but...)
I made ComputerCraft disabled by default. I explored Open Computers more and I appeals to me a lot more than CompuerCraft.

CC / OC: I've only ever used computercraft, wouldn't mind using Open Computers as part of the "not the usual way of doing things" pack theme. I don't know what pros/cons integrating them has vs. picking one.

Project red / blue power: They seem to have a bunch of overlapping recipes for the logic gates and redstone wire stuff. From that persepctive, I'd vote in favor of pick one or the other as they are redundant/conflicting (especially if the stone tile parts of logic gates are not equal in the ore dictionary). I don't have a feel for the feature sets to have an opinion on one vs the other, though I'd lean towards red rather than blue on the grounds of not having Yet Another Thing to Mine (tm).

Worldgen: No opinion.
