Hi there! My name is WrinkleyPotato, and this is my pack XalterCraft. What inspired me to make XalterCraft is a number of things. First, I started to look around the third party pack area in the forum and I realized, "Hey!!! How come there aren't any sandbox modpacks that aren't HQM or Progression? Isn't sandbox what Minecraft is supposed to be?" Now, I have nothing against these modpacks that are HQM or Progression, I just wanted one that is not, and I figured that there must be other people out there that want the same thing.
Second, this is really just a compiliation of all of my favorite mods.

v1.0.0- Initial Release

What makes this pack unique:
Some would classify it as a "Kitchen Sink" Modpack. This is because it includes mods of all sorts. Magic? Tech? Nature? Adventure? Yep! All here!!!
It's a sandbox. A normal sandbox, if you will. It's not progression, and there's no story to it. The few recipe changes it has and will ever have are to help you have a bit easier time obtaining things that, in my opinion, should be craftable.

More Mods!
More Dense Ores!
More Recipe Changes!

Yes, you can stream it, post it to youtube, lick it, eat it, or wrap it with bacon. I don't care.

P.S. If you are getting a bit o' leg, try disabling mobs on Journeymap, and if that doesn't work just disable the map completely.

What I've got planned for the next update should catch people's eye. 50+ Dense Ores and also Custom Lucky blocks, plus a few new mods, one of them (the only one that affects gameplay) being galacticraft.

Amazing modpack! I'd like to recommend a few mods; the first mod I'd like to suggest is the Aether II, which I'm sure we're all familiar with. The second mod is the Erebus, which is a giant underground cavern with jungles, deserts, savannah & more as well as giant insects & even new bosses! Finally, Hardcore Ender Expansion heavily improves the End, making the Ender Dragon much harder & changing the End from a boss room to a whole new dimension, filled with new biomes, mobs, & bosses!

Yay! Galacticraft Should Draw In Tons Of People. And Nerds (Including Me! Im A Sucker For Space And Science.) Also, Try To Add Minechem. Custom Recipes For That Will Be Hard, But Worth It. It Can Change Entire Maps. Just Look At ME^3...

Didn't think about Aether II, will be in the next update!
I need to learn more about Erebus, does direwolf have a showcase?
HEE is a notify/request perm, I will add those once I'm done with all of the features with open mods ;) I would like to add it though. Also, with the dense ores, I will have to create my own textures. :eek::( Am I allowed to take from the CrackPack without asking? :D

I didn't put Aether II, it has a little main menu update and I didn't know if i can disable that... I was eager to get v1.1 out

I also tried to put in thermal dynamics, but the required version of CoFH Core kept giving me crashes... :(

I am also having some trouble with lucky blocks... The perms got changed and I might have to take it out of the pack. If it does end up getting taken out of the pack, then there is sadly nothing I can do about it. I guess we'll see if it did get removed.

It's been 2 hours. I have downloaded other modpacks, but Xaltercraft won't work. Same errors as the log.

Probably because they are sad. Jadedcat has left the team. First Emayez, now Jadedcat... Ftb is falling apart. R.I.P lord Jadedcat. May agrarian skies live on.

Should be fixed! The pack was showing uploaded on the launcher but the pack wasn't actually on there yet.
As for the lucky block mod, I looked through the minecraftforum post and informed the person doing my pack that the author said that we can continue deving public packs with the mod in it before the change.
