Hey, i want to do a modpack, where you travel through dimensions in a specific order and have to kill (a) boss(es) in each dimension to progress and continue to travel to the next dimension. It's kinda like divine rpg, but with a mod for each dimension.

These are my mods that aren't dimension mods:
  • Waila
  • NEI
  • Mine Tweaker (can it configure armor/weapon stats?)
  • Difficult Life (to keep things interesting and because i like the armor skin feature)
  • Mob Properties (mobs in dimension 1 have to be stronger than those in dimension 2)
  • HQM (to tell the player the order of the dimensions/bosses, hardcore will be disabled)
The dimensions:
  • The Betweenlands (still WIP, but it looks great and i can wait)
  • Twilight Forest
  • Hardcore Ender Expansion

This is the order of dimensions i have in my mind:
nether (wither) -> end -> twilight forest -> between lands

So, do you know any other good dimension mods, that can be used for this RPG-ish modpack? Please let me know, if you know know one or if you have another idea for this mod.^^

I would suggest the Eternal isles mod, Atum mod, Erebus mod, and Eternal frost mod. I hope this helps you

In my opinion, the ultimate dimension mod would be Mystcraft.
A bit hard to get the hang of... but once you do, it can do everything you want.

I would also recommend mystcraft. Problem is the permissions set by xcompwiz. Kinda restrictive IMO. So I use RFtools Dimensions.

As long as you do not create another kitchensink mod or something mediocre, he should give permission (at least that was my impression of him).
If your modpack has some kind of story, or something to make it "more unique", it can't hurt to try. What thes worst that could happen?
