Our modpack's primary and ONLY power type is Redstone Flux. No more mucking about with multiple power systems to perform simple tasks. This has allowed us to focus on where mod integration matters - between mods that were MEANT for each other - mods that developers created to specifically be compatible with RF. We are tired of trying to power Thermal Expansion machines with IC2 power, and we know you are, too.

- Includes new ascended Rebirth armor. Obtain the full set to get all the buffs. The armor grants temporary immunity when struck. The weapons apply special buffs while wearing the armor when you shift right click with the weapons held.

- We have put together a server version of our pack. Just download, host, and you're good to go!

- We built the modpack to be very server friendly. Most chunk loaders are disabled by default. Players should only be able to access one chunk loader - the personal anchor - which unloads when they are offline.

Notable changes:
- Draconium ores and ingots now have ore dictionary values. This will allow it to hook properly into Technomancy and Mekanism, allowing for x5 and x7 ore processing.
- Chaos Guardians will now spawn in The End, and will not crash servers when chaos islands are generated.
- Technomancy's essentia coils will no longer cause crashes when placed next to certain Thaumcraft blocks.
- CoolStuff now has ultimate backpack slot upgrades. The backpack can be upgraded to have an additional 416 slots (104 per tab, 5 tabs total). Rebirth armor textures have been changed to something more MOLTEN!
- EnderIO updated to resolve an issue with thousands of wither skeletons spawning in the nether.
- MobiusCore and Opis updated to resolve an issue with low tps issues on servers when no players are in the nether.
- Quests are no longer included in client downloads. Quests will now only be included in server downloads of the modpack. - Main menu has been adjusted to compensate for multiple screen resolutions and aspect ratios. Simply put, the menu was just centered.

Notable changes from mod updates:

- Mekanism 8! This includes several changes, but I'll touch on some highlights:
--- Lasers, can be used to mine and cook chicken.
--- Reactors! Used as a power source.
--- ALL machines can receive upgrades! No more bottlenecks at chemical washers.
--- Machines have configurable input/output sides.
- Draconic Evolution draconium ingots no longer require 4 draconium dust and 1 iron ingot. Instead, the draconium dust can be smelted directly into draconium ingots. Yes, this does mean that draconium ore can be 5x processed with Mekanism (or using other methods, like QED and Technomancy)
- The Ultimate Bag's (Cool Stuff) bag upgrades have been fixed. No more client crashes when opening bag tabs.
- The Phoenix Core (Cool Stuff) now has a burn time, usable as a fuel.
- The Rebirth Sword (Cool Stuff) can no longer be disenchanted. Sowwy, no more free Looting X enchant books.
- Pam's Harvestcraft added more recipes and Ore Dictionary values, furthering its compatibility with cross mod foods.
- Witchery has some new stuff, like the mirror world.
- Sanguimancy now comes with a guide book, given to players on first join.
- Gany's Surface added BANNERS, as well as a handful of other 1.8 features.
- Blood Magic has new rituals and armor. So Omega!
- Reliquary got an overhaul to its brewing system.
- Magic Bees added a vis apiary booster!

Config changes:

- Amethyst (BOP) added to the Ore Dictionary. This allows Amethyst to be mined with the Digital Miner using the OreDict filter.
- Villagers and Iron Golems removed from powered spawner (EnderIO) blacklist. They were allowed with MFR spawners, so why not this one as well.
- Disabled the Magnetic Force (Random Things). Not very fair for servers.
- Omni Wrench mode set to keybind " ] "
- Draconic Evolution GUI keybind set to " [ "
- Hard mode recipe enabled for Phoenix Core (Cool Stuff) - requires dragon egg instead of nether star. This is due to how easy it is to acquire nether stars mid game.
- Disabled Auto Refill (InvTweaks). It was annoying players, especially when brewing or performing rituals. You can still enable it client side.
- Disabled Ore Dictionary usage in developer options (NEI) - this eliminates the GUI lag when pressing "U" over an item in NEI.
- Galacticraft and EnderIO silicon are now united under the same Ore Dictionary value, allowing either to be used in most silicon requiring recipes.
- Galacticraft Silicon Ore may now be processed in a SAG Mill, and will output EnderIO silicon. No more needing to mine it by hand!
- Reverted Big Reactor component recipes to require iron instead of steel. Big Reactors requires enough materials as it is, so requiring additional coal seemed like overkill.
- Disabled several mod update notifications to reduce login chat spam.
- MFR's raw and cooked meat ingots have been added to Ore Dictionary values, allowing them to be used in Pam's Harvestcraft recipes requiring raw and cooked beef and pork.
- Galacticraft cheese now shares the same Ore DIctionary value as Pam's Harvestcraft cheese, allowing it to be used in recipes.
- Client no longer starts in fullscreen mode. This should finally eliminate any issues people have with our custom main menu.
- NEI now has utility mode enabled by default, with the delete/trash button available.
- Aura Nodes (Thaumcraft) added to the blacklist for Mekanism cardboard boxes. Two reasons. 1, it essentially gave players a creative node (boxing and unboxing the node would randomize its type/brightness/vis each time). 2, could cause server crashes in some instances, or otherwise generate a hungry node.
- Possibly more that I may have forgotten about.

- Updated EnderIO to resolve conflict with Mekanism.
- Changed Draconic Evolution mob soul drop rates to 1/250 for both hostile and passive (default was 1/800 for passive, 1/1000 for hostile).
- Disabled nether quartz explosions (Nether Ores). This will allow for better use of the Nethermind without worrying about exploding nether quartz in the overworld.
- Gany's Surface added "1.8" sticks (such as acacia and birch sticks). These sticks now have ore dictionary values, allowing them to be used in recipes that use sticks.
- Disabled mobs spawning with Mekanism armor.

- Cool's Stuff added a crafting grid and the ability to name tabs in the Ultimate Bag.
- Cool's Stuff added lives (the same lives originally from the Rebirth Stuff mod), now with silly messages upon death/losing a life, and remaining lives will be displayed in chat upon losing or gaining lives.
- Mekanism logistical sorters no longer crash the game.
- Technomancy added a mana exchanger. Turns Botania mana in liquid.
- SymCalc adds a Runic Matrix stability calculator, telling you what kind of recipes you can infuse without problems.
- Steve's Addons allows you to safely move factory managers without losing programs.

Config changes:
- Mekanism now reads RF instead of J.
- Added ore dictionary values for the new "1.8" items added by Gany's Surface
- Players start with an Enchiridion Book Binder in their inventory.
- Draconic Evolution tablets and Forestry catalogues can be placed in the book binder.
- Tinkers' Construct green hearts have been added to dungeon loot tables.

Recipe changes:
- Green heart canisters can be crafted.
- Overgrowth seeds can be crafted.
- GalactiCraft Silicon ore can be processed in Mekanism crushers and EnderIO SAG Mills.
- Thaumcraft Infused ore can be processed in Mekanism Enrichment Chambers and EnderIO SAG Mills.

Quest update:
- Zayin99 has resumed development of quests. Expect more frequent updates. Sorry for the slow updates so far!

I had the error as lolimpo, but it was just a simple fix as using the next version of RemoteIO 1.3.0.B38. Not sure why it causes a crash, but doing that fixed the crash.

We are pushing an update ASAP to resolve this issue. Update will also include some new mods - Blood Magic automation mod, along with a mod that will reduce NEI clutter (went from 200+ pages to just 35, it gets rid of all of the covers, panels, facades, etc. This will help reduce NEI lag.)

If your still looking for testers on your server I would love to help. What are your requirments?

We simply require people to desire helping find bugs. Prefer people with modpack experience, even if it's just playing them extensively. We are nearing release, however, would love some more rigorous testing to find any last minute bugs, imbalances, etc. Find us on Teamspeak. Info can be found at RebirthGaming.org
We push updates to through the Technic launcher first (since it's immediate), then push updates to FTB if everything is stable and the server/pack launches successfully.

Not sure how the EnderIO slip up got past us, but we will take extra precautions to ensure this doesn't happen in the future.

We now have plans to remove IC2 along with all IC2 addons. This will officially make our make purely focused around RF for tech mods with no other power type involved, including ye olde BC MJs (BC is being removed as well).
The functionality provided by BC and IC2 are matched or exceeded by other mods in our pack such as Mekanism, Refined Relocation, Extra Utilities, and, of course, Thermal Expansion, making BC and IC2 oddballs in our pack with nothing more than redundant features.

We will also be adding Modular Power Suits, which will serve as an extensive tech based armor option. The other tech armor option is Fluxed Infused Armor from TE. We feel that after the removal of IC2 and the implementation of MPS, players will have plenty of solid choices for armor, including the awesome armor sets provided by magic mods such as Botania, Thaumcraft and Blood Magic.

I looked on your site and didnt see a place to request to get whitelisted to beta test the pack on the server. Did I miss something or is beta testing on the server closed.
