The world is not as it once was. What was once running rivers and sprawling oceans has long since been destroyed, replaced with a vast void. Once, we would have been able to survive in this world with ease, but our prior methods of flight no longer function, and simply crumble in our hands. Nothing is left but the wings of the Icarus.

This is the official modpack for Project Gamma Season 2. This pack is designed to be played using Fun World Gen's Sky Dimension world type, and offers very few options to traverse the void.

1.2.0 was released earlier today. See the Changelogs section for more information.
1.2.1 is under approval, and will fix a crash bug that was introduced in 1.2.0.

In terms of an "official server", the Project Gamma server exists, but is a private, invite-only, whitelisted server.

Server files are however still provided, and so you are able to make your own with ease.

Having a really good time with the pack, it's a good mix and the world gen is a nice change, looking forward to making some wings too since I've always just had a jetpack :p

... also let's playing it... down in the sig

You actually have to work to get the first few diamonds, then you are able to create a portal to Aroma's mining Dimension. :)

Aroma, right. I hadn't thought of that approach, good one.:)

This is why I think terrain gen is going to be the next big thing - there are so many different approaches. I'm giving players a way to get to a dimension with obsidian; then they can go to the Nether and mine nether ores. Once they get RFTools up and running it gets easier, although that's when Special Mobs becomes an issue. ;)

It is, but they aren't THAT good. Still quite okay though :)

As I make the Icarus mod, don't hesitate to give feedback on it, and I'll watch your vids too :p
