Stellarium is the mod which add constellations, planets, etc. in Minecraft.
You can see the better, realistic night with this mod.
I have plan to add customization of planetary system with config.

Once again, awesome mod!
Another little idea had was that when you are in a cold biome such as taiga, icy plains and so on you see polar lights up in the sky.

Location Latitude?
Light Polution?
Atmospheric Extinction?
Angle of Dip?
I just want to know btw, it's a great mod!

I have plan to generate biome via the coordinates. So when you are on high lattitude, there will be full of snow biomes!

Are you going to add :
Location Latitude?
Light Polution?
Atmospheric Extinction?
Angle of Dip?

Yes, I'll add lattitude, light pollution, atmospheric extinction in Stellarium. But what is the Angle of Dip?

He doesn't need to simulate that... because the visible world eventually ends when there are no more chunks being loaded, you can already see "past the world" when you are really high up :p
