Fairy Tail is a hit anime series still going on. It is an anime that focuses on magic, wizards, quests, and all that good stuff. This modpack was designed to put that all into Minecraft to the best of my ability.

I am a HUGE anime fan and I love doing things like this. This was a little side-project I decided to piece together. I am well aware of all the other Anime packs out there however, every modpack author adds their own flair into something.

There is a server that you can play on. The server promo video is posted below. The modpack is still single player friendly of course.

As stated above this modpack was designed to give somewhat of a Magical feel. Which this pack does specifically.

A lot of the technology mods are not in this pack. This pack was designed to fit more of a fantasy feel. Magic is used to replicate what technology mods would do.

The pack was also designed to encompass a neutral feel. If players are unfamiliar with Fairy Tail, they can still enjoy the pack.

If you are looking for a Magical Adventure then give the pack a test run. I am always working on it and we have an official website that houses a community as well.

Pack seems all right, has a bunch of nice magic/adventure based mods, though there's a couple of issues:
-Custom NPCs requires that there is a pre-built town of some sort, which I guess is on the server, but there isn't any way to use the server map as the singleplayer world (like TolkienCraft does). Right now, the mod does absolutely nothing in SSP mode.
-You can't download the server for your own use, which is irritating because some people don't want to play on something public and would prefer if it was just with a known friend or two. Which includes me, by the way.
-I generated a Biomes O' Plenty world (out of habit, I suppose) and there was a lot of Celestial Forest biomes everywhere, which I guess aren't supposed to exist on the overworld due to the existance of the Celestial Dimension; it doesn't help that these biomes were nothing more than tall hills devoid of all grass or trees with normal stone and ores showing (rather than the cool-looking space themed Celestial Trees/Stone). Oh, and Minecraft crashed when I hacked in a Celestial Portal to (presumably) actually enter the Celestial Dimension. Then again, this isn't the first pack I've played that fails on BoP generated world, so yeah.

That aside, it looks to be a promising pack that even those unfamiliar with Fairy Tail (like me) can still enjoy. Seriously though, exclusive servers are bad practice IMHO (and if you don't want any public servers other than your own of this pack, I'm sure you can find some kind of legal thingy).

One final note: Everyone puts their modlist on the modpack post. Seems you forgot yours?

Thanks for the feedback! I'll take each point individually.

- Yes and valid point. What I actually plan to do is install lockdown into a future version of the modpack so that you already have the preset map. For now you can download it here:

- No the server download isn't available but for the most part the modpack can easily be replicated and installed onto a server. There a couple of mods that are client-side only that you would have to remove like LiteLoader for example. However if there is a high enough demand for the server pack I will provide it. However my server has a large amount of customization that I added into it or personally wrote and adjusted some scripts to fit my community. So the server pack I provide would be the modpack just without the client side only mods this way server owners can create their own world.

- I wasn't aware that Celestial dimension biomes generate with Biomes of Plenty World Types. I will look into that when I update the Celestial Craft mod (benefit of being the mod author of it lol). So that is a bug report for my mod basically.

- Yes minecraft crashed when you hacked in the Celestial Portal because it isn't ready yet. I placed it in the mod to lay out the foundation for the next couple of updates. The Celestial Dimension does work in the upcoming release of the Celestial Craft Mod along with the biomes actually getting decorated wit trees and such.

- Yes, I honestly just forgot to put in the modlist. I am going to update the OP now. Lol

Another idea would be making hqm Quest which are telling the Stories and then you can fight against Different guys you have your Base in the Guild have Quest to do defeat oracion seis or Phantom Lord
Win the magic Guild Contest thing
I Know That Sounds too Crazy and Not makeable BUT would appreciate that

As i like Fairy Tail i am happy to play this modpack. Only problem is, that i had to disable the Battle Music mod, as it asked me every few seconds which soundpack i want. With that you really couldn't play.

@chromo1418 - Yeah the Battle Music mod is a love it or hate it. I myself turn it to silent when playing. I think default key is [ or \ to open its GUI and you can turn the sound off. Perhaps in future version I will default it to off.

@HeroWing2 - HQM is probably going to be coming out in the next version of the pack. Along with some factions. Quite a few people have suggested me adding it. In all honesty it was in the pack originally but then removed.

Thank you for taking my constructive criticism the right way :)
I've been playing with the pack a while and discovered a Celestial Forest biome with Celestial Soil and Stone in the Nether, as you've stated this is probably not supposed to happen so I thought you should know. Also thanks for pointing out that the Celestial Dimension is still in development; perhaps it would be a good idea to remove the portal from the Creative Menu/NEI/prevent the dimension travel attempt until the dimension is ready for release?

Also I found a Mushroom Biome very early in-game which caused large amounts of Cyclops to spawn as normal monsters don't spawn in mushroom biomes. This led to a virtually infinite source of diamonds. Are Cyclops intended to spawn in Mushroom Biomes? Cause this makes diamonds a very easy early-game resource, even if they're supposed to be difficult mobs due to high damage, HP, and knockback resistance. In the beginning, I beat them up easily by retreating as I wailed on them with my starting stone sword (quickly upgraded to diamond) and iron armor (quickly upgraded to gilded diamond). The only thing is that I built my base there. Lack of regular plants is beginning to really hurt me now. xD (obviously I don't know their spawn rarity elsewhere; are they supposed to be rare mobs?)

About the server, thanks for the info; it's good to know the mods are easily copied for server use; I know that virtually every mod that is server-compatible is universal these days, but I couldn't be sure of whether your mod was or not. Still an old habit of older MC versions, I suppose; back then, everyone had to make separate mods for client and server.

HQM quests? I like them, certainly, and everyone seems to be using it around here. Getting them to work well with the pack in a way other than a tutorial with incentives is something I would like to see, though.

With regards to the server - yeah I know what you mean. Same thing here, i remember when they weren't always universal. But it is still a valid question as some of the mods in there are not server-side and will make the server crash on startup. But if enough people ask for it, I will release a server pack. I don't have a problem with that. As a pack author I want people to have fun with the pack their own way.

I collected some data from my server as well as from other places and HQM seems to be in demand. So I decided that the next pack version will have HQM in it. Now it may not have a bunch of quests right away. But they can easily be added in and downloaded separately or added in with minor pack updates.

Yep. The pack was updated to 1.3.2 this was a maintenance patch rather than a content patch. What this update did was:

- Resolve ALL potion ID conflicts
- Updated Forge to 1492
- Updated Botania to 221

The next update will likely be a content update which will include Celestial Craft 1.0.0 RC, Lockdown and HQM. And I may include the actual map for Fiore since Lockdown is going to be installed. The progress is only a little slow because for the Celestial Craft update I am trying to get textures for the remaining Celestial Spirits.

I'm really liking this pack, but I have 2 questions;
1)What are these invalid item quest rewards and what do I do with them?
2)Are there only 2 quest lines or does another unlock after completeing the hunting line?

I don't really know anything about how to use Ars Magica and was hoping the HQM book would kinda quide me through it.

The HQM quest lines have given me a number of problems here and there. It really doesn't make sense to me but I fear it might be something related to itemIDs (even thought hey are auto-assigned). Your not the only one who this has happened to, yet in other situations it works fine. What I can suggest to you is to replace your current HQM folder in the config folder with this one. Ars Magica 2 is something that I would like to get into HQM so it can walk you through it and I may work on that soon. But currently it isn't.

Nope. Still getting invalid items as quest rewards. But that's okay. This pack is still a lot of fun to play, so it's of little consiquence.
