If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Title 1.7.10 Direwolf20 server not launching

Launcher Type MultiMC

Modpack Direwolf20 MC version 1.7.10

Modpack version 1.10

Have you modified the pack? No

Link to log file crash-2017-03-13_23.11.33-server.txt

Details of the issue When first launching my modded server, it appears to work, then when I edit the server properties and give it my IP. It starts to crash not not work at all. The error it gives is that the state engine is incorrect, things about the hatstand and RFTools mods. If there is a fix for it but would require more cooperation than convenient in text, I can be contacted on DIscord or skype as Mosrael#7223 or Storm_Surge117

Leave the ip-field empty in server.properties and try again.

The server loaded up perfectly fine, but how will I connect to it if it doesn't have an IP? Also, any idea as to why it gives me incorrect state engine error?

The minecraft server uses the network interface on you machine.

You need to set up port forward if external users are going to be able to connect. Then the external users can use the public ip, but if a computer is on the same network as the server, then use the internal IP on the server machine - is it the same machine for server and client, then the client can connect using "127.0.0.1" or just type "localhost" (both without the ")

provide logs, and use paste.feed-the-beast.com and share the link to the log.

/fml/fml-server-latest.log <--- take that one

Okay I will try, thank you for the help so far. I am hosting my server from my computer and trying to join on the same one. I am currently going to try to have someone connect with the field empty. I sent the latest crash report if it will be of any help.

You still have the external ip-address in your server.properties - you need to remove that.

I'm trying to have a friend connect to my server and he isn't able to, I tried everything I could think of. How can I have someone connect to the server who isn't on localhost when the server itself doesn't have an IP?
I setup a port forward but the IP doesn't work with my friend trying to join. I used IP Chicken to get my IP and had my friends add the port.

You need to sort out portforward and open the traffic in the machines local firewall.

Your friend then needs to use the public ip address to connect to you.

To try if you managed to set up your server correctly, use dinnerbones status tool:
https://dinnerbone.com/minecraft/tools/status/

ip-address or dns, if you use standard port 25565, the port is not needed.

If this tool doesn't "see" your server, then you need to retrace your steps with the port forward and/or firewall.
