Found a great use of all of my extra steam - Grinding stuff with RotaryCraft!

I, however, have run into a problem with my Steam Turbine. It seems that no matter what face i've tried, it will simply not connect to any kind of Steam input! I have tried attaching it to BC pipes, TE ducts (opaque and glass), directly to a RailCraft tank full of steam...the only thing that did anything was attaching it directly to an IndustrialCraft2 Tank, however, this caused it to suck up the steam at an incredible rate and not actually start spinning, so I'm assuming that's a bug...

Anyone know if there's some quirk with these things I'm not aware of? Or if this is currently bugged?

I'm using RotaryCraft 1.6 V19b according to the mod zip file.

RC turbines will only use RC steam from steam boilers. It's a solid transmitted by RC steam lines, not piped as a fluid.

He's not using those turbines, he's using the single block one meant to use steam from other mods.

Right, I've been doing Reactorcraft, so I'm thinking the big ones.

I have successfully run 4 of the little boxy steam turbines from one HP boiler with opaque fluiducts for a total output of 2 MW.

Works fine for me, so I'd say update. That version is ancient.

i had no idea our version was so out of date...we just recently went through and updated our modpack, custom added mods, and such, but i guess the modpack didn't update as new as it could've...i will try this when i get home today

Meant to post this earlier but it slipped my mind, but just to add some closure for anyone else that may come across this thread with the same issue - Updating DragonAPI, RotaryCraft (and just because, ReactorCraft) to v24 did solve the issue! My Steam Turbine now happily connects to all manner of pipes and steam-capable inputs.

As an added bonus, it also fixed a bug regarding Belt Hubs, where the belt that's run between two hubs wouldn't render properly and would disappear/reappear depending on how you looked at it / whether part of it was off screen. yay!

thanks again for your responses everyone
