Windows .exe 1.6.4 Modpack lag and crash

When I play monster, I get really bad lag. Like 1-4 FPS lag. I know its not my computer specs because my brother runs it at 40 FPS on the exact same computer. I have tried re-downloading Java several times and force updating. Also I have tried optifine, but that just immediately closes the game when it starts (no crash report). I have tried the JVM perimeters and optifine light. Optifine light doesn't crash the game but it doesnt really help with my FPS lag.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

the game closes when using optifine because thermal expansion intentionally crashes the game when it detects optifine.
as for your problem, i believe its related to mapwriter. try pressing U on your keyboard to change modes.
if that doesn't work, try disabling OPIS.

I tried that. It didn't really help, but now the error only appears when the game is minimized. Is there any way to override thermal expansion closing the game with optifine or any other way to stop my lag?

That increased my FPS a little bit but its still like 8-10 fps with 1-4 fps lag spikes. Besides disabling thermal expansion is there anyway I can use optifine (standard)?

Ok. But I did figure out how to get past thermal expansion closing the game. If you use optifine standard C6, it will work. Is there something that is recommended and supported that can increase FPS?


BTW you guys should really support optifine. It really does work miracles FPS wise.

a better PC?

seriously though, there aren't really any mods that can help increase your FPS. the simplest way is just to drop the graphics settings down a bit, like normal instead of far render distance and so on...

No.

When the mod author allows for packaging in our mod packs, then we will support the mod.

We do not provide support for any mod that does not come with an FTB Mod Pack.
