1-5 Fps while playing the Direwolf20 pack

So.. Ive been having major lagg issues with the DW20 pack for ages now. I get about 1-5 fps no matter what i do.

Im using a laptop with a intel i3 CPU , Geforce GT540M graphic card and 4 GB ram.

Tried updating java to the latest version. Ive read that the 64 bit ver is the best to use, but i need 32 bit for chrome...

Tried updating my graphic card drivers and forcing my pc to only use the geforce card.

Tried optfine, does not help.

Tried lowering and increasing ram usage.

Nothing helps :( Any ideas?

Java or java-script? Anyway according to java.com and a few users you can have both versions installed. Ashzification from the help desk does suggest not having both installed as you can see in the link above. Be sure to keep them both up to date if you choose to have both and specify that you have both if you request for help.

Edit2: In case you did not catch my question above. Java and Java-script are two different things. You do not need Java to have Java-script.

Im not really sure what java i need for my onlinebank, But it seems i had increased the ram usage on the launcher to 1.25 gb used.
Lowered it to 1 gb and ended up on 13 fps Oo. Well, its something. Atleast its playable again.
Read through most of the support bases before posting in here. None said that i can only use 1 gb ram for 32 bit java.

I doubt a bank is using java for banking but that on a sidenote. Even if you have java 64bit installed the 32bit programs still work. You can however allocate more RAM to the programs. The reason why we don't advise to have both on your pc is because you whould to manual change path's and startup parameters to get java programs running.

You tried Optifine, this should work but i reckon only if you have abit more RAM. OR if not setup right it will make it even worse.

Keep in mind you can't run 64bit java on a 32bit os ;)

Most banks in norway use java to log in. Dont ask me why.. Is there a way to make the FTB launcher only use the 64 bit java ?

I think i have to try again with all the support steps and try and see where my faults are. Might just be my shitty laptop being shitty...

Yeah i know, i have a 64 bit OS.

i give up, waiting for the 1.5 update. Heard there were FPS updates with Forge or something like that. Or until i buy a new computer..
