1.5.2 Server Startup Issue

I'm currently updating my server to 1.5.2 from 1.4.7. I'm using an unmodified version of the unleashed pack that I downloaded from the launcher and cant get it to start from my multicraft panel. In the console, it gets to "unloading dimension 1" and then hangs up indefinitely. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

well what was the 1.4.7 pack/mods you where using? There is a reason slowpoke suggested a total world reset on the update.

I completely deleted all of the old files and replaced it with the new ones for 1.5.2.

I didnt keep any of them. I started clean with a fresh install. I just cant get the server to boot because it gets hung on "Unloading dimension 1" every time.

Well saying updating makes me think you kept something. I am running all the 1.5.2 packs fine on my server network so going to need more info, considering your saying its not crashing just becoming unresponsive its rather hard to track back.

Yeah its an interesting problem. I'm doing a fresh install of the 1.5.2 Unleashed pack. Im using the pack exactly as I downloaded it with no modifications. When the server starts up, it goes through all of the typical boot process until it get to "Unloading dimension 1" at which point it becomes unresponsive. There is no crash log as no crash ever actually takes place. Im very confused on where to go from here.

Are you using the client downloaded or server downloaded? As if you use the client downloaded it should of straight out crashed. Considering I don't know why unloading the end would cause a freeze like that as unloading chunks/worlds is semi common in mods. I personaly use MCPC and have it always keep -1,0,1,7 keys in memory just do to normal access but I do know there are other unleashed servers not running mcpc so I would suggest remaking the entire server in a compleatly new folder and see what happens.

It refuses to ever go past unloading dimension 1.

Something is spaming the console. Considering it was not able to find a opt.txt doc I find that very strange. What is your startscript.

Im not sure what that means. I just ftp the files over that I downloaded and start the server up. Thats how I set the server up for 1.4.7 originally and I never had any issues.

The start button on the multicraft control panel that I was provided with by the company who hosts my server for me. :s

Well considering its threw your hosting company they could be doing some odd things to your jar on startup that could be causing issues.
