I'm not 100%, but I think you're going to have to start clean; I don't think you can carry a world over.

I've heard of people doing this, but it required lots of work and they literally had to rebuild huge parts of their world and machine systems. Enough to make the attempt not worth it. Just start over

well... i dont mind starting over but i find choosing the mods to be a pain so is there anyway to "transfer" them to my new 1.5.2 world? and do i just create the world in some other mod pack and then just remove all mods or how do i do it? sorry for so many questions :)

I'm afraid I don't understand what you want?

Ideally you'd just run a new modpack (say, Unleashed) and that's that - maybe enabling some of the disabled-by-default mods, or manually installing some stuff that you're missing (assuming you know how).

i dunno how to "install" them but what i've been doing is download a modpacks that have the mods i want, then use the one that has most and the hardest to "enable" as my main pack and then just enable the ones i downloaded with rest of the packs (which didint come with the main modpack). im asking if there is an easier way to do this? also i asked how to create the world? do i just download a mod pack that is on 1.5.2 ? sorry if im hard to understand :p

No, there's no "easy" way to (essentially this is what you are doing) create a custom pack.

Basically yes, select a mod pack that is on 1.5.2, and make your customizations. Reminder, you need to start the pack at least once (up to the in-game main menu) for all the files/configurations to be downloaded/created.
