1.4.6 ftb pack?

i tried logging my server i like playing on and it says its running the 1.4.6 version of ftb.. but the launcher doesnt show it.. so is the new ftb hidden?

I got the update window when I loaded it this morning. Of course I got nothing but trouble after using 1.4.6 but that's another story.

Nobody mentioned beta. Most of the other packs are on 1.4.6.

well..xcpt from the retro pack (which is retro hence no upgrades) only the beta pack does not show a 1.4.6 version. so i had my inner sherlock combine the pieces of this puzzle and come to the conlcusion of this thread being about the beta pack.

Sounds like to me that the server you play on has updated the modpack they use. I'd advise speaking to the server admin and check to see. Most likely they will be running either DW20 pack or Mindcrack pack, which shouldn't be hidden from your launcher.

You've lost me I'm afraid. How this can be about the beta pack when the server the author is trying to log into requires 1.4.6? If he had been using it before the chances are he was using 1.4.5 and the beta pack has never been updated past 1.4.2.

Unless the server has been 1.4.2 all this time and only just updated... In which case fair enough and I thought wrong.

Because it doesn't state Direwolf20 Pack or Mindcrack Pack. Just FTB pack, which some could take as FTB Beta A Pack
