Closed 1.4.1: Incompatible FML modded server on clean installs

What is the bug:
Not sure where to put this.
Clean installed FTBInfinity on my home linux server, it worked on the first startup but had to be deleted and re downloaded due to permission issues on my user. (forgot to logout of root) now I am getting Incompatible FML modded server on clean installs even though it's the same zip file i used, i just recopied it via winscp.

Server version checks out fine for me, sounds like you have some issues with your machine.

If you used the same world I would not be surprised if it has the wrong permissions, you should be able to change them with a command

This sounds like there is a mismatch of mods between your server and client. A simple solution would be to use the mods that are included in FTBInfinityServer.zip and put them into your client's mod folder. Is there a possibility you updated Infinity on your client and didn't update your server? Also note, when you go to connect, it should spit you out an error with the mismatched mods.
