Version:
1.4.1
What is the bug:
The Runic Matrix from my Thaumcraft Infusion Altar behaves rather strangely while active:
Upon activation, rather than shaking a bit it jitters a full block space to either side, then, during the crafting process it orbits the central position, potentially clipping through the central pedestal or the altar pillars. The purple lights remain where the matrix block is actually placed, and the animated matrix stone itself simply teleports back upon completion of the infusion.
This may be related to the stability score of the altar, since I have about 2.5 full 21x21 planes of mob heads (byproduct of any decent Cursed Earth farm...). Maybe it calculates the orbiting offset from the stability, but doesn't set negative scores to 0 first?
Mod & Version:
Thaumcraft 4.2.3.5
