I'm guessing 1.3.2 is the most current launcher version and it seems I'm unable to play in offline mode. I recently [as in yesterday] had my DNS server go offline. Before switching my gaming PC to use an alternate DNS server, I attempted to login to my SSP world. No dice. Loading stalled at 'loading minecraft.class' with the 'would you like to play offline' popup continuously appearing.

Not looking for support on this, just figured it's something y'all should know about.

I'm having the same issue. I'm glad I'm not the only one just for the simple fact that hopefully it isn't on my end but something that can be fixed.

Offline mode is much more important for my situation as I have a VERY limited bandwidth connection here so "always on" isn't an option for me. Launching a game works fine while online but once I reach the Yes/No dialog for launching offline, it just stops. I can press "Yes" again and it runs though the same lines in the log (see below) over and over again for each time I press "Yes". If I watch Task Manager, another javaw.exe pops up then proceeds to close immediately.

Pressing "No" closes the dialog but only grants me an error in the log.

As OP, I have the 1.3.2 launcher and I'm attempting to launch FTB Unleashed. Offline use to work fine before I updated, though I cannot say which version that was. If it helps, it was a version around 1.1.0 of Unleashed as that is the one I'm playing currently. Launching other pre-downloaded mod packs offline does the same thing.

Other Specs:
Windows Vista SP2 (64x)
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_25-b17) (64x)

I would assume that this probably won't be high priority given the large percentage of users that have internet access all the time, I understand. But if I could be pointed in the direction of an archive of older versions of the launcher, I would be happy to find one that works for me.

I apologize. I did read that post but it was a previous version (1.2.9) and I am using 1.3.2. The final post states it was to be fixed in the next (assuming after 1.2.9) update, so I thought maybe it didn't work. Plus this topic was already here. ^_^

Ah well, guess I was wrong. Sorry again.

That wasn't addressed specifically at you, just people in general. Anyway, I think the original thread was created when 1.2.9 was current, however the post regarding the fix was made last Friday, so fairly recently.
If a new update is released and it still doesn't work, then that means it didn't work and you should report it :p

So... (And I know this is a dreaded question for developers online) is there an ETA on the next update? If not or it will be over a week or so, can you point me to an older version of the launcher I can use until then? I appreciate that the problem has been fixed but my limited bandwidth is, unfortunately, something that isn't going away. :(

Edit: Oh well, forget it. I moved over to another launcher which offers offline mode at a press of a button. I didn't want to complicate things by adding yet another variable if/when I have to troubleshoot a crash or other issue I might get in the future, but it seems I have no choice until an update is offered. Que sera sera. :)
