1.3.0: Unable to respawn 1.4.1

What is the bug:
After we are killed the game returns us back to the launcher. I have to go into the player files on the server and delete them to be able to log back in and spawn. On Direwolfe 1.4.1

Server or singleplayer?
If server, get kicked and join again, then press respawn.
 
Server, when we try to respawn it works for a second then closes the game. until i delete the players files
 
I die, it kicks me back to the launcher, (this is happening to all on the server) i relaunch it spawns me back in for a second then kicks me right back off again. I have to go in the players files on the server and delete them. after i do that it lets me respawn back.

If I had to guess, this is likely something to do with the Blood Magic effect Soul... something, gah my brain today. Since that's one of the only effects I can think of that applies when you respawn. Alternately, it could be the potion plant causing issues again. I think there have been other instances of this issue here before, so I suggest you look through the forum to see if anyone found a fix.
