1.2.8 Bug

when i updated from 1.2.7 to 1.2.8 i recieved:

[Fatal Error] :7:3: The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed.
Exception reading modpack file: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 7; columnNumber: 3; The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed.

i am assuming it has to deal with Creeperhost?

Had the same error. It is fixed now. Just restart your launcher.

restarting didnt fix it for me. i had to delete and redownload.

Worked for me after the second restart... wait a bit and try again before deciding to un-install and install anew.

OK, Launcher update worked and the new pack download is complete too.
But when i launch the Horizon pack i am stuck on the following:

Logging in...
Login complete.
Horizons
Modpack is up to date.
dirs mk'd
debug: retaining modpack file: C:\Users\*******\AppData\Roaming\ftblauncher\ModPacks\Horizons\Horizons.zip

Nothing else is happening.

UPDATE:
Out of nowhere it started
Seems like the launcher needed to download more than the first 91MB for the pack in the background.

For all who are stuck at the following line at the launcher console:

debug: retaining modpack file

Just let it run and wait for it to finish. It looks like the launcher redownloads the zip file for the modpack again in the background. Ones this is done the launcher will continue to start the modpack.

Got past the first two issues with a re-download and then a restart and stumbled into this one. After opening the mod directory and backing to my main files the natives directory is created and has files in it.
