1.12 mod for Tree farms

What mod for 1.12+ would be best to use for tree farms. Love Ender IO farming station but no 1.12. So looking for a good alternative for making my tree farms. What would you guys suggest?

Actually Additions seems to be your only option at this time.
Did the functionality of the Farmer change? In 1.10 trees are not covered by it.

I've seen the RFTools Builder used as a tree farm a few times. If you filter it to take only the wood, it will ignore saplings until they grow. You just need something to place the saplings, which could be addressed by a second Builder if nothing else was available.

Industrial Foregoing is a re-imagination of MFR, and can rapidly farm trees.

The Phytogenic Insolator from Thermal Expansion has an upgrade that permits it to be a tree farm as well.

I always liked the steves carts tree farm. Was cool watching them trundle around doing their thing. Used them a few times with a track all around my main base area.

I always liked the idea of Steve's Carts, but the mechanics of making a cart always turned me off. I tell myself I'll give it another shot some day, but there are so many options that haven't rubbed me the wrong way, I doubt I will unless I have no other option.

Yes, for me the daunting part was always the build time to assemble the cart. There were a few times that I built all the parts, got them in the assembler, put in a stack of coal, and found another way to get wood. 2/3 weeks later I'd remember the cart and go see that it's at like 30% and just abandon it.

Whoops I forgot the 1.10 and 1.12 versions are called Steve's Carts Reborn. I have not used the latest version yet but I added it to the pack I created for 1.12.2 (I intend to use it I just have not progressed in a direction where I want a tree farm yet). Anyhow, it does have configuration options to eliminate the time to build mechanic so if that is the only thing holding you back from using it again, then either you or a pack creator could do everyone a big favor and make that change.

From the default config file:
# Set to true to disable the timer in the cart assember, it will still require fuel
B: DisableCartAssemberTime=false

Alternatively, you can write the BB code like:

[Plain]B:DisableCartAssemblerTime=false[/Plain]

The Code and Plain tags should disable the emoji code, but the Code tag adds the Spoiler-like box.

Only pointing it out because it was something I had to look up just the other day, and figured others may not know either.
