Details of the issue whenever i try to login to the server i play on, i get disconnected and then when i try again i get an error. it just says an owner cannot be found for the override actuallyadditions:block_oil. i've already gone to ellpecks discord to discuss it with them, they blame forge. i would have gone to the forge website but one of their rules is to go to the support for the modpack first so here i am. there is absolutely nothing in the logs at all about any error when i look though. im on the latest update for the pack and so is the server.

There's no official server version of this pack - did you create that yourself?

And also - the unstable pack is a experimental pack and there's no tech support available for the pack (stated in the description of the pack)

theres a server for it, its not mine at all. its called hammercraft. im not the only one experiencing this issue, some players get the bug and cant join but then they restart the pack and sometimes they can join. for myself ive gotten the bug every time and havent been able to join since version 1.0.4

Talk to the admins of that server, they must have created their own server pack.

all they did was download it off the launcher and put it up on a server, the server stays updated to the pack on the launcher. i have been working with the admin to find a fix for this issue

Well there you have it, they created the server pack themselves - as there's no official version released of this pack as a server.

And as said before, it's a experimental pack with no support.

That doesn't mean I can't look for help from someone that knows better than I do about what to do, so if you don't mind could you please either help or stop harassing on the post?

That's actually exactly what it means. "no tech support" = no tech support, and you posted this in the Tech support part of the forum.

With that said, i'm not going to waste more time on stating the obvious.

I would appreciate it if you would stop flaming my topic. This topic is just me searching for help just in case anyone had already had this problem and got it solved, then they could tell me and in the future anyone else has it they can find an answer here. Please stop flaming my topic. Last time I ask before I make a report.

Old unstable bug reporting threads could be more suitable for unstable than creating new support request thread. e.g. https://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/alpha-unstable-pack-bug-reports.42413/ or start a new thread for 1.12 version of the pack.

I'm sure that pack developers appreciate any positive or negative feedback and beg reports for the pack but tech support for unstable has lower priority than other packs. Pack is quickly evolving, might break on updates and might be broken.

Of course if someone knows answer for the problem he can (and should) post the solution. But my recommendation to use one single dedicated thread for unstable pack discussion, not to create new support request threads.
