Version:
1.1.0

What is the bug:
Running a skyblock 1.1.0 server for myself and a couple others, while preforming the Thaumcraft infusion for the portable eldritch portal (skyblock thaumcraft page for ex nihlo) the server crashed, restarted and it would just keep crashing at the same point. Had to load server from backup 1.5 hours earlier. Crash report is in the paste info.

This was for the portal-in-a-box on the ex-astrix page

Seems as if some value either from a config or an ingame class is bugged there. Chances are that that is something caused by Ex Astris, triggerring a bug in Thaumcraft. Or something world-related but that might be hard to debug...

I will run a manual back up before trying it again, but I put more stabilizers in place and will be setting up the ae2 infusion provider this time. So I will see if it works later tonight or tomorrow.

So I had the same crash. Didn't want to revert to a former backup as I was too lazy to search for the manual backup command or wait for a auto-backup. However MCEdit allowed me to remove the Runic Matrix and my world seems fine. Interested in whether adding stabalizers would help, I know my altar was highly instable. Apparently it's a somewhat common crash but I couldn't find an actual solution besides removing the matrix.

I was able to complete the infusion successfully, to note: nothing fell off the pedestals this time, where as before I had to replace a few things. I may have gone a bit overboard on stabilizers, but I did not want to take any chances this time. Pictures of my setup in spoilers, larger size so did not want to overload someone's screen. (Also not sure if spoiler tab will work for this). Not the prettiest setup, but I also do not make the prettiest bases, lol.

Also, the backup force is "/admin backup start"

this will force a backup to start, just to be safe.

not sure if this works on single player worlds

Yea you probably went a bit overboard, I'm guessing 1 or 2 layers of zombie heads probably would of been more than enough. Nice to know that a fully stabalized altar can complete the infusion, I'm actually guessing that the problem has something to do with how dangerous the infusion is and stuff falling off right at the end of the infusion.

Nice to know the backup command as well I assumed that the backup was being done by aroma backup but I guess it's now part of FTB utils or something.

The first time I had done the infusion I had the 1 layer of zombie heads(also why they are facing a different direction), I do realize 5 layers is a lot, but I did not get a single lightning bolt, so hey at least there is that :D
