1.1.0: One neverending lag in all 1.7.10 modpacks

What is the bug:
Hi,
I have i7 laptop with 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD, using 64bit Java and OS X Yosemite, and no matter which modepack I'm running I have one neverending lag. My fps is dropping to 15fps and cant even move smoothly. Why is that? Because 1.6.4 minecraft modpacks running much much better.

I would argue that this should be in modpack bugs instead of here surrah. Also 1.7 included a bunch of new code in vanilla, so there's more things that can go wrong with the mods as well.

try the mod "fastcraft". it's not included in most of the ftb modpacks and is a real Performance enhancer.

Sorry to bother again, after added fastcraft my minecraft is crashing, i have java 1.7.0.75 and dont know where to find log from this crash

update to Java 8 asap! it also brings a lot of enhanced performance and shouldn't crash as much.

also make sure to uninstall your old java Version and download the 64 bit version of Java 8

NOT a good idea to use J8.

I have been using Java8 for some time now with many modpacks (including FTB infinity) and it works just fine.
