What is the bug:
Hi all,
I've been having two problems on my FTB Infinity skyblock expert map, the first being that on first opening the game when I start the launcher, the GUI flickers white. If I save and quit, then reenter, then it still flickers but it stops after 5 or so seconds. My other problem, however is that on first opening the world the hardened lumium glass recipe is available, however on save and consecutive reenters the recipe is gone, as is normal hardened glass's induction furnace recipe (alloy smelter recipe is still there). I've looked at several other posts that have had one of these problems, however no one seems to have a fix.
Things I've Thought of/Tried
put recipe into induction furnace despite NEI not showing it
recipe will not go in, and no lock flux mode is not on
download a new instance of skyblock

I don't know how one would repeat it, I assume not everyone is having these problems since there aren't many other posts out there documenting it.
Specs:
AMD Radeon HD 6800
OCZ Vertex3
Intel Core i5-2500K
16GB Ram
Settings:
6GB allocated (yes I know this is excessive, however I find it helps and have done significant research into the optimal RAM allocation)
Java Arguments:
-Xmn1G -Xmx4G -d64 -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=80 -XX:+UseStringDeduplication -XX:+UseCompressedOops -XX:+UseCodeCacheFlushing -XX
arallelGCThreads=4
(no, I do not know how these work but they were suggested to me and they seem to help)
