Version:
1.0.3

What is the bug:
Modpack version is 1.1.0 (not 1.0.3).

There are no RF version of the Genetics Machines.

In creative 2 versions of each Genetics Machine are shown but both of them are the MJ version.

Yes

Known Fix:
No workaround can't even "cheat" in from creative mode.

They still accept RF, no matter what NEI or their power meter says. Test it in Creative world

You are right. Thanks. I was going off the tool-tip on the machine power bar. I should have tried it before reporting. Thanks again - on to Bees :)
