1.0.3: Ender io facade crashed client when painted as a forestry wood block

What is the bug:
When attempting to place an ender io facade that has been painted as a forestry wood block, the client will crash and repeated crash when attempting to relog onto a multiplayer server.

We had a similar issue with someone placing a facade painted as a thermal expansion cache. Fixed it by deleting that player's data (to send them back to spawn). When they ran back to the original location the facade had a big red "!" on it, and anyone who looked at it would crash. We used a turtle to destroy it without looking at it.

I'm unsure if moving the original player was required or not, just purging the block w/ a machine without looking at it may have worked.
