Open 1.0.1: Steve's Carts - External Distributor - Exception when placed

What is the bug:
Place an External Distributor anywhere in the world and it will spaming the console with the exception (see log) again and again.
This also makes the Distributor useless because it doesn't save its state! The GUI is resetting every now and then because of that exception.
It even makes Steve's Carts completly useless because you need the Distributor for complex setups.

From what I've been able to figure out so far this is likely a conflict between Steve's Carts and Botania as both mods attempt to register a tile entity as "distributor". This causes Steve's Carts to fail to register the external distributor.
