What is the bug:
When crafting the Genetics machines the recipes only give you the MJ version of the machine. Their is supposed to be a different recipe for the MJ (uses a bronze gear), RF (uses a redstone reception coil), and EU machines (uses a ic2 circuit) but they all create the MJ version. This affects all of the Genetics Machines. As their is only a MJ version available and MJ is no longer supported in most mods they are unable to be powered with ender io conduits, mfr conduits, buildcraft pipes, or extra utils pipes, all tested, thus rendering all the machines useless. I tested the RF versions in creative and they work but they don't have any crafting recipe available.

Start a creative world give yourself all the supplies through nei and try to craft one or all of the machines. They will only create the MJ powered versions not RF or EU. Known Fix:
I did the known fix from the above issue tracker. It involves minetweaker which comes with the direwolf20 pack anyway. I have made and pastebined a config that fixes all the recipes: http://pastebin.com/FAzstapM.
