1.0.1: No breaking blocks in Direwolf 1.7.10

What is the bug:
Hello, I was playing the game and out of way I couldn't break blocks with my hand and I had to use the correct tool to break blocks. Is there a way to fix this??? Please help.

Sounds like you are in Adventure-Mode / Gamemode 2. Try to switch to /gamemode 0 (if needed click "open to lan" and allow cheats).

Im in adventure mode I cant break dirt blocks or any blocks at all in adventure mode unless I use the right tool for it which is weird lol

You can also use NEI to change your gamemode back to survival.
