1.0.1: NEI Search not syncing

What is the bug:
Occasionally the NEI items list to the right of the inventory screen will freeze, and not respond to search terms in the search box. You can still use the items that are currently displayed with full functionality, as though you had searched them up, for example for crafting recipes or to give them if in Cheat mode, but you can't search up anything new.

Can it be repeated:
Yes, it has happened many times, but I am not sure how to trigger it.

Known Fix:
Quit and reload.

Please search the bug-tracker, someone explained what causing this. Only fix (as currently) : restart.

This has been happening to me, and I think that it happens when you double click the search box to highlight certain items, then exit your inventory when the highlight mode is still on, then when you reopen your inventory it is frozen
