1.0.1: Error while running launchMinecraft(): java.lang.NullPointerException

What is the bug:
Hi all

I get a nullPointerException each time I try to run DireWolf20 1.7.10 pack (1.0.1)

I am using Java 7, 32 bit. 4 GB RAM, 1 GB dedicated.

I don't have an idea what is causing this, please help...

Too little ram. Try giving the launcher 2 GB and see if it fixes it

He can't do that with a 32bit os.

@RobotSquid You will need a 64 os and 64 bit java to run the 1.6 & 1.7 packs because they require a minimum of 2gb of ram.

OK thanks, I thought that might solve it, I am just very reluctant to upgrade to 64-bit, because then I will have to move all my files, although my CPU is X86-64 and can support it... Guess I'll just have to do it sometime ... Thanks anyway!

There is no reason not to have a 64 bit os because your 32 bit os won't be able to use any more than 3.5 gb of ram.
