What is the bug:
Covering a chisel lava block on all sides with other blocks causes anyone in render distance to crash to desktop.

Can it be repeated:
Yes. Every time anyone gets near it crashes the player

Known Fix:
Removing the lavastone block using MCedit
 
Huh. Well first, this is on a server correct? And you can't reproduce it in single player?
Second, lava stone gives off light, so given the error log, it's likely that has something to do with it.
