Closed 1.0.0: Portal Problems

What is the bug:
We're having a few problems with the dimension portals.

Every time someone tries to go through the Abyss portal their game crashes to desktop.

I'm also having problems with the Precasia dimension. The world spawns, but with these issues :

The tree logs are replaced with redstone ore.
The plants are replaced with diamond blocks and ore.
The ground is missing the entire top layer. (When you walk on it, it acts like a ghost block, so you just rubberband around)
The sky is pitch black, like you're in a cave.

I've tried placing the portals in different locations and deleting the world folders to start a new world, but nothing fixes it. I've looked through the config files but I'm pretty much lost on what to do. (The portals work fine in singleplayer)

I love this modpack, so someone PLEASE help me!

Try update to 1.1.1.
If you are using it, update text.
Try delete the dimension for a possible fix.

Does sound like both are the same problem. I'm closing this as a duplicate of this issue. Try replicating on the 1.2.0 version that should be out tomorrow. Has a number of AoA fixes.
