still no better, if i uninstall extra utils it doesnt even load into the game, its a step backwards....

i havent used any of them though its a new world that all ive really done is the basics, so surely that cant be the reason?

i thought shutting down internal server was normally java's way of saying it can't allocate enough ram? ill try your suggestion anyway thanks

After updating the FTBlite 3 modpack and adding a few other mods my game crashes upon world loading, pretty sure its a java issue, any ideas? copy of console is as follows http://pastebin.com/uQibr51K

Thanks Pal solved game is loading and working again, weird thing is though I changed that because FTB broke before that and wouldnt load so that was one of the things i tried. Anyway thanks for the help
