    Hi rhn, thanks for the quick reply. i am running 64 bit java and have been allocating around 4gb of ram to FTB through the launcher. im only using the standard texture pack so will try again with only 2gb of ram and see what happens. Thanks for the tips and i'll be sure to post back the results.

    Hi Guys, Im new to the forum, so apologies ahead of time if i am not following procedure. I currently am using my laptop to play Vanilla minecraft. I generally get good FPS rates between 60 and 70 consistently on Vanilla 1.7.4. Ive tried to play FTB, and am coming across a bit of a problem...
