Also the auto anvil, xp shower and sirenge, and elevators do not function at all

hostile mobs have stopped spawning in my overworld in the middle of playing. Even the cursed earth i recieved as a quest reward does nothing. If i type /cofh killall it says no hostile mobs present. When i teleport to the nether mobs are everwhere but when i return to my island again no mobs.
