Installing Java means services running in the background and so on. As mentioned I prefered MultiMC way, but if that's not possible then I'll have to stick to MultiMC.

Heyo, So since FTB moved back to its origins, decided to get back to FTB Launcher, but got a problem that it requires Java to be installed. I have downloaded tar.gz ages ago and I basicly extract it to the folder and use it as normally with MultiMC (for example). Is there any way to resolve this...

I'm not maintaining the pack, just updated the mods.. If you want to add something custom feel free to do that on your own in Twitch app with currently updated mods.

Clean install wasn't crashing, but after updating all the mods then crashes started... Probably wrong versions of the mods.

Ehm, tried whichever version was on FTB Launcher... yeah everything is outdated and buggy. Tried updating wasn't working either some sort of error was constantly causing game to crash D:

mhm, well I'm sort of porting whole modpack to Twitch app with some minor changes. Gonna inform if something will work out! Ok, since Twitch might be a problematic and not sure when I will have more free time to get this modpack there at this point we will stick to basic update! Short tutorial...

if I were you, I would try replicate all the mod list in Twitch app and then just copy config files instead of defaults. I haven't tried this modpack in ages, would give a try for the update, but not sure if it will work.

Do you have enough RAM? Have you tried waiting? It appears that game is frozen sometimes, but it gets back to normal after a while.
