    Piping items to devices

    ok that somewhat makes sense, what i am trying to do is send fertilizer into a fermetor. However when it is full it pops out the fertilizer, when i put a hopper on top, the fertilizer wont even go in. Sorry im a little new to piping items.

    Hello, I am piping items to a device like fertilizer to a fementer. If the fermentor is full it shoots the item out of the piping. Is there a way to tell if a device is full or not? thanks!
