    Well I tried it again and this time it worked. Not sure why. Thanks for your help. I wish I knew how I fixed it.

    FTB crashes to desktop.

    I tried that, but when I run the launcher again, the files I updated are downloaded again and overwritten by FTB. Is there something I'm missing?

    Windows .exe Exception-Access-Violation

    I am getting the no sound problem too. When I turn on Sound FTB Minecraft crashes. Vanilla MC sound works fine. When I download and copy/replace the dll files, and start FTB new files are downloaded and my replaced files are overwritten. http://pastebin.com/1W08i43A

    FTB crashes to desktop.

    I tried disabling all the mods in the mod pack and starting minecraft through FTB. It now works, but there is NO sound. When I enable sound on in the minecraft options, Minecraft crashes to desktop. The vanilla version of Minecraft works and has sound. I'm not sure what FTB Minecraft is...

    I'm getting a similar error. I have tried reinstalling and launching with a different mod pack. Minecraft works fine, but FTB does not. Here is my error http://pastebin.com/3NJFzaRG
